J. C. Carpenter is a freelance writer and editor based in Prince George’s County Maryland. In 2012 she created Write 2 Be Media, an umbrella for multiple artistic endeavors that further spread her message of self-acceptance, self-love and embracing the right to be authentic and unapologetic about who you were meant to be, which include the Write 2 Be blog and Write 2 Be Magazine.

J.C. Carpenter has been writing steadily since the age of ten and has dedicated herself to the power of words and her passion for writing. In addition to writing regularly for her own blog, she also writes articles in the areas of health, lifestyle, self-help and writing. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a Master’s Degree in Psychology.

J.C. Carpenter is currently working on her second and third novels, When Love Calls and Hidden Beneath the Sun: A Mackenzie Brown Mystery. She is also working towards producing her first non-fiction book for writers, For the Crazy Makers: A Spiritual Motivation Guide Writer’s Who Self-Sabotage. She hopes that through living out her dreams she can inspire someone else to realize theirs and not be afraid to dream big.
